Absolutely. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health coverage, you’re welcome to use those benefits for our work together.
I’ll provide you with a monthly superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
You’ll simply pay for each session in full at the time of your appointment.

If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance company will typically reimburse you for 60-80% of the cost of each session after you’ve met your deductible.
I’d be happy to check your benefits for you! Just make sure to have your insurance card handy, with your Member ID, during our free intro call.
Or if you prefer, you can confirm the benefits of your health insurance plan, with your insurance provider directly. Just call the number on the back of your health insurance card listed under Member Services. You can ask them the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage? Am I able to use these benefits for telehealth?
What is my out-of-network deductible?
How much of my deductible has been met this year?
Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see someone out-of-network?
What percentage of outpatient psychotherapy sessions are covered per session?
How much will I be reimbursed for a 45 minute psychotherapy session (CPT code: 90834)?
How do I submit claim forms for reimbursement?
How long does it take for me to receive reimbursement?
-
Your out-of-network benefits are usually pretty straightforward to use. We have two options:
I partner with a company, Thrizer, who can submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf for a small fee. After you’ve met your deductible, you can decide whether or not you want to pay for the session in full, and receive reimbursement from your insurance company via direct deposit. Or you can simply pay your co-insurance and Thrizer can cover the rest of the cost for you, while they wait for reimbursement from your insurance company.
Or if you prefer to deal with your insurance company yourself, I will provide you with a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You will be responsible for paying for each session in full at time of appointment.
We can discuss these options in more detail on an intro call and see what works best for you!

Yes, I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots in my schedule. If you do not think you can afford my full fee, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
If I’m unable to offer you a sliding scale spot, I’d be happy to offer referrals to trusted clinicians in the area.
If you’re hoping to find an in-network provider, www.psychologytoday.com is a great resource.

Before scheduling a therapy session, I do a free 15 minute intro call with all potential new clients. This gives us the chance to get to know each other. Here’s what you can expect:
I’ll ask you about why you’re seeking therapy
I’ll tell you a bit about myself and my approach as a therapist
You can ask me any questions that I didn’t cover
We’ll talk about rates, insurance, availability, etc.
-
If we both decide we're a good fit after our intro call, we'll schedule our first therapy appointment. I'll send you a couple of quick forms to complete before our first session. I'll also send you a link for our video calls that you can use every week.
-
This is a no-pressure space to see if we're a good fit.
Your free 15–20 minute consultation is a chance for us to connect and talk about what’s bringing you to therapy. You don’t need to prepare anything or know exactly what to say—I’ll guide the conversation.
During the call, we’ll:
Talk briefly about what you're hoping to work on
Go over how I approach therapy and what working together might look like
Answer any questions you have about the process, scheduling, or fees
Discuss whether my services match your needs (and if not, I’ll offer referrals)
If you're planning to use out-of-network benefits, let me know—I'm happy to check those ahead of time or walk you through how that works during our call.
There’s no pressure to book a session. My goal is to help you make an informed, comfortable decision about your care.

You’re used to carrying it all — but in this space, you don’t have to.
Our first session is a chance for you to exhale. We’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, where you’re feeling stuck, and what you’re ready to shift — whether that’s setting firmer boundaries, easing anxiety, navigating a life transition, or simply not having to “keep it all together” anymore.
I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your story, your strengths, and your patterns — but this isn’t an interrogation. It’s a grounded, collaborative conversation. No need to rehearse or filter. Just come as you are.
By the end of our session, we’ll map out a personalized plan forward. Whether we integrate CBT, EMDR, or solution-focused tools, you’ll leave with clarity, direction, and a sense of what ongoing support will look like.
This is your space — no pressure, no judgment, no performance. Just care that meets you where you are and helps you move toward where you want to be.

Most of my clients meet with me weekly, especially at the start of our work together.
I ask that all new clients commit to weekly sessions for at least the first 6 weeks. This gives us the foundation we need to build momentum and begin making meaningful progress from the start.
As we go, we’ll revisit what works best for you. Depending on your goals, I may recommend increasing or decreasing session frequency to fit your needs and pace.
My approach is solution-focused and goal-oriented — which means therapy with me is designed to be effective, not indefinite. Many clients meet their goals within 3 to 6 months and feel confident stepping away from therapy.
Others choose to continue long-term for ongoing support, deeper self-work, or simply to have a dedicated space to think, process, and grow. Both paths are welcome here.on
